I’m calling it now, this Saturday (or maybe even by Friday night) BlogPodium will be a trending topic on Twitter, and (with some certitude) your Facebook and Instagram feeds are going to be overrun with updates from the conference.
Get ready. Us bloggers are.
I enjoyed the past two BlogPodium events, but on both occasions left with the feeling of wanting more: more knowledge, more connections, more of an experience.
I’m looking forward to so much of what’s in the works for Saturday: the incredible line-up of presentations and workshops by industry professionals and bloggers; the opportunity to connect with new-to-me bloggers and expand my daily reads; even the inevitable feeling of being overwhelmed by the volume of creative and clever and stylish people in one room.
If I can get a handle on just a bit of the awesomeness that goes down this weekend, I’ll report back. Maybe. If 250 other bloggers don’t get around to it first.
In the meantime, like every other person attending, I’m off to figure out what to wear.
+ It’s been SO long since I’ve been in a conference-like setting, I hadn’t even thought about what needs to come with me. I’m using Melissa’s post on what to pack as a refresher, and adding tons of snacks to my bag because food = friends.
+ I ordered business cards nearly three weeks ago, and they are somewhere between Richmond, B.C., and my doorstep. Major anxiety. MAJOR. I need a business card contingency plan like now.
